Tell us about where you are from and how you got to this position today.
ENOVA was formed in 2011 by front man Elliot Weber. ENOVA is an American hardrock band based out of Phoenix Arizona. Elliot Weber (singer) and Derek Keever (guitar) originally played together in the band RONIN MEYER before it disbanded in 2010. Looking to pick up where Ronin Meyer left off, Weber and Keever reached out to longtime friend and fellow Phoenix musician, Anthony Gabuzzi (The BRIX, COM…FORT FOR CHANGE) to play guitar. Matt Brunsvold (The Brix) was soon added to the Mix followed by Anothony Gavalyas (Drummer) and ENOVA was complete.

ENOVA is a powerful and dynamic force influenced by bands such as Chevelle and Incubus. They exist freely between heavy and melodic, while always staying sincere and powerful. Already grabbing attention from Radio and television locally and nationally, ENOVA’s first single “Counterpart” produced by Micah Wilshire was premiered on Season 20 of CBS’ reality show “The Amazing Race” on February 19th 2012. Elliot was also a contestant on the show with twin brother.

What do you have coming up? What are some of the new projects we can expect to see?
ENOVA will be releasing there single “One More Time” under EMI and Ramblin Rose Music. ENOVA is looking to hit the road for the summer 2012 on there upcoming EP AWAKEN.

Tell us more about the current song you are promoting to everyone.
“One More Time” is song about finding new beginnings in the end of any particular moment in life.

How does your music separate yourself from other artists and bands out there?
Our music remains heavy and melodic, and will always carry a message of hope. It will never be manufactured for a any one particular audience and will always give the people who listen a sense of ownership.

Tell us about one of the hardest challenges you had to face in the industry?
We think most of the challenges are well known, music isn’t sold anymore. It’s free and with that artist are being punished. Rock seems to be closing doors, but it will never close – it needs a new face, our face ENOVA.

What was one of the biggest set backs in your career and how did you bounce back?
I think all of us deciding we should leave our old projects to join up together. Most of the time you play music it’s with friends and when wanting to pursue music as a career, business and friendships can get confusing and harsh. Bouncing back is easy, but loosing friends isn’t.

What are some things artists need to be careful of?
Women, just kidding. Sharks and people who over promise and commit to things they never really had intention of doing. Most people can talk, but the phrase I think most should remember is: “money talks and bull shit walks.” People will steal your money if you let them. Sharks.

What suggestions do you have for other artists like yourself?
Stick with it, it’s a dream we live for and there is no degree or school that can teach you to be a rock star, nor an application for a job like ours.

What is one of your favorite ways to promote yourself and your music?
Social media is the only way now, but nothing’s wrong with hitting town bars and setting the standards. ENOVA loves to mingle
