Exclusive Interview
Tell us about where you are from and how you got to this position today.
Two-piece indie/electronic band based out of Oakland, California. Ross is a bay area native and Clinton is originally from Texas. Met while exchanging pizza for bacon and eggs at each others jobs in Berkeley. Now we play music together.
Tell us more about the current song you are promoting to everyone.
This is a song that was created in Ross’ room using very minimal gear. It is sort of a b-side, and we are currently in the process of recording our debut EP.
Tell us about one of the hardest challenges you had to face in the industry?
We are still very new, so I guess everyday is a challenge to just be noticed by “The Industry”
What was one of the biggest set backs in your career and how did you bounce back?
Day jobs.
What are some things artists need to be careful of?
Being taken advantage of by managers and labels.
What suggestions do you have for other artists like yourself?
If you have an idea or goal, go after it. As long as you’re constantly creating new things, you will never be stuck in a routine.
What is one of your favorite ways to promote yourself and your music?
Playing as many shows as we can and figuring out interesting ways to reach people that normally wouldn’t listen to us.
Where can people visit you?
